Fibro Fog

Published by dorenep at 12:21 am under 1 Edit This

I feel like I’m walking in a dream.  I can’t complete a sentence.  I can’t remember where I’m going once I get in the car.  I just want to sit and stare.  I’m so tired of fibro fog.  I’m trying to hold on, to wait for this episode to end, but I’m not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  I wonder how many fibromyalgia suffers have fibro fog.  Is it a prevelant symptom, or am I a rare breed?

I’ve been looking, but I haven’t found any numbers on it.  I’m not finding any help from the experts on dealing with it.  I’m tired of friends and family telling me to just get on with life and “get over it.”  Tired of hearing that they don’t understand why I’m this way because I don’t look sick.

I wish I could trade bodies with each of them for just 24 hours.  I want them to know how it feels to be in pain, dazed, with your short-term memory failing.  You know there’s housework to be done.  Bills waiting to be paid, but you can hardly walk, let alone hold down a job.

I know you all go through this too.  Do you suffer from Fibro Fog?
